Newspapers Mission:
A NEW PAPER is always a daring and uncertain experiment...There are already a number of papers published in Waterford, but among them all there is not a single one of them that deals with the affairs of Ireland from any other than that of an Imperial standpoint, or in other words, from the standpoint of the British and West-British political parties. Our outlook will be entirely different from our contemporaries. It will be a decidedly Irish outlook upon affairs that are Irish or that stand in some relation to the concern of our country
