The Tullamore Tribune first went to print on the 03rd June 1978. Introduced to the public by Editor J.I. Fanning. The Tullamore Tribune is a sister paper of the Midland Tribune and when launched focused on news from Tullamore Town. The paper was launched with the slogan “A Tullamore Paper for Tullamore and North Offaly Readers”
